The Happy Strawberry

Cheer up and smile, it's not so bad,
Try to be happy instead of being sad.
Things will get better, they always do,
But how soon they change depends on you.
Meet things with a grin, and soon you'll find
That things get better in no time!
But if you should meet everything with a frown,
Your day will keep going down and down.
So wipe those tears and do a happy dance,
Smile, look around, and give optimism a chance!
Follow the Happy Strawberry, and you will see
Happiness can come to both you and me!

Only Days Until Strawberry Appreciation Day!

Strawberryism is a stronghold against the cynicism that is slowly taking over the world today.  It is a way of life, rooted in optimism and tolerance, meant to remind people that there is a brighter side.  If life is a journey, there are strawberries every mile - the little moments of sweetness and good that make life worth living.  What better analogy for life's experiences than strawberries?  Some are sweet, some sour, most are nutritious, and all are a gift from nature.  In the same way, some of life's experiences create joy while others are less than enjoyable; the majority are beneficial and can be learned from, and each moment should be treasured.  This Sanctus Acinus Textus, or Holy Berry Text, is meant as a guide for those just starting down the Strawberry path.  It contains the Happy Strawberry's views on some basic issues.

-Update

An entry on theater has been added to the Sanctus Acinus Textus.  Also, a reminder to everyone that Strawberry Appreciation Day is coming up on October 18th!  To celebrate it, please wear red and do something good (pay a compliment to someone, help someone, etc.). Consumption of strawberries/strawberry-flavored products is encouraged too. Thanks!

If you wish to join, or would like more information, send an email to Robin, the founder and chief priestess of Strawberryism, at strawberrypriestess@yahoo.com
